Scope and Contents
Richard W. Nicholson has been a resident of Lynd, Minnesota since 1901 when his family moved to Lynd from Burt, Iowa. The Nicholson family ran a lumber and hardware business in Lynd from 1901-1962. Nicholson tells of the changes that have occurred in the businesses in Lynd. There is also information on the telephone company, the school system, the churches, and other general information on the history of Lynd .
