Scope and Contents

Born January 27, 1894, near Aberdeen , South Dakota . Mrs Teig was the daughter of Nor.wegian immigrant parents. As a young girl her family moved from South Dakota to Belmont Township, Jackson County, ~innesota, near Lakefield. She tells about her childhood chores on the farm, the Norwegian Lutheran Church, and family life. She was a country school teacher and an active member of church groups.
