Abstract

This book contains some of the veterans of Jackson County. Because I live and work around Lakefield and have been able to talk to many of these people, the reader will say where are the men and women from Jackson and other parts of the county? A lot of this work is taken from obituaries on file at the Jackson County Historical Society files. I have used some from "The War Remembered" by Pat Costello with permission. -- H. Ed Carlson
