Harris, a life-long resident of Cambria, Blue Earth County, talks about the Welsh settlement around Cambria and the influence of the Welsh C.M. Church (Presbyterian), and Welsh Congregational Church in the community. Discusses the merger of the churches to form the Cambria Federated Church, which later became the Cambria Presbyterian Church.

Scope and Contents A retired farmer's wife, age 89, who married at age 18 and moved to South Dakota to farm, and in 1911 to Montevideo where she farmed until the 1940's. Both Laura and her husband were involved in co-operative movements in Chippewa County. She was also active in the Farmers Union, and for a short time active in the Farm Holiday.
